1. ELIGIBILITY This contest (the "Contest") is open only to legal residents of Washington who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry and who are the legal homeowners of a residence located within Allred Heating Cooling Electric's service area (Auburn, Federal Way, Puyallup, Bonney Lake, Sumner, Tacoma, Maple Valley, Snoqualmie, Covington, North Bend, Kent, Northeast Tacoma, Browns Point, Pacific, Gem heights, Bellevue, Issaquah, Sammamish, Klahanie, Spanaway, Redmond, and Kirkland)

Employees, officers, and directors of Allred Heating Cooling Electric (the "Sponsor"), its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, children, siblings) and household members are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law. As a condition of winning, the potential winner must provide verifiable proof of ownership of their primary residence. The property must be a single-family home and meet all applicable building codes for installation.

2. PROMOTION PERIOD The Contest begins at 12:00:01 AM PST on Wednesday October 8th and ends at 11:59:59 PM PST on October 31st (the "Promotion Period"). Sponsor’s computer is the official time-keeping device for the Contest.

3. HOW TO ENTER To enter, visit https://services.trustallred.com/furnace-giveaway during the Promotion Period. Complete the official entry form with your full name, valid email address, phone number, and home address. Then, in the space provided, submit a short story (the "Submission") explaining why you or a nominee deserves to win a new furnace. The Submission must be in English.

Limit one (1) entry per person/household for the duration of the Promotion Period. All entries must be received by the end of the Promotion Period to be eligible. Submissions must be original, truthful, and created solely by the entrant. Submissions must not contain material that is obscene, defamatory, libelous, or otherwise inappropriate, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.

4. JUDGING AND WINNER SELECTION This is a skill-based contest. The odds of winning depend on the number and quality of eligible entries received.

• Judging Panel: Following the Promotion Period, all eligible Submissions will be reviewed by a panel of qualified judges selected by the Sponsor.

• Judging Criteria: Each Submission will be judged based on the following weighted criteria:

  • Compelling Need (50%): The extent to which the story demonstrates a genuine and significant need for a new furnace (e.g., due to financial hardship, safety concerns with the current unit, health-related needs, etc.).

  • Clarity and Sincerity (30%): The emotional impact, sincerity, and clarity of the story presented.

  • Overall Narrative (20%): The quality of the storytelling and adherence to the spirit of the giveaway.

• Winner Determination: The entry that receives the highest total score from the judging panel will be deemed the potential Grand Prize winner. In the event of a tie, the entry with the higher score in the "Compelling Need" category will be declared the potential winner. The decisions of the Sponsor and judging panel are final and binding on all matters relating to this Contest.

The potential winner will be notified by phone and/or email on or about November 8th, 2025. The potential winner must respond within five (5) business days of the notification attempt. Failure to respond within this time frame will result in forfeiture of the prize, and an alternate winner will be selected based on the next highest scoring Submission. The potential winner will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, and (where legal) a Publicity Release within ten (10) days of notification.

5. PRIZE: ONE (1) GRAND PRIZE: One (1) complete Trane heating system. The specific type of equipment (e.g., gas furnace, heat pump) and model will be selected by the Sponsor, in its sole discretion, to be compatible with the winner's home. Prize includes standard professional installation. Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $6,000.

Prize Conditions:

• Prize must be accepted as awarded. No cash equivalent, substitution, or transfer of prize is permitted.

• Installation must be scheduled and completed within 90 days of winner verification.

• The winner's home is subject to a mandatory pre-installation inspection to confirm suitability and compatibility for a standard installation.

• A "standard installation" includes the furnace unit, labor, and materials required to replace an existing, accessible furnace in the same location.

• The winner is solely responsible for any and all costs beyond a standard installation, which may include but are not limited to: ductwork modifications, electrical or gas line upgrades, asbestos abatement, structural modifications, or any work required to bring the home up to current building codes. Sponsor's determination of what constitutes a 'standard installation' is final.

• If the winner's home is deemed unsuitable for installation by the Sponsor, or if the winner is unwilling to cover necessary non-standard costs, the prize will be forfeited, and an alternate winner will be selected from the remaining eligible entries.

• Winner is responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes associated with the acceptance of the prize.

6. PUBLICITY RIGHTS & LICENSE TO SUBMISSION Except where prohibited by law, by accepting the prize, the winner grants the Sponsor and its designees the right to use their name, likeness, photograph, voice, biographical information, and city/state of residence for advertising, promotion, and marketing purposes in any and all media, now or hereafter known, worldwide in perpetuity, without further compensation, notification, or permission.

Furthermore, by submitting an entry, each entrant grants Sponsor a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to publish, reproduce, display, edit, and otherwise use their Submission (story), in whole or in part, for any purpose, including but not limited to advertising and marketing, in any media, without further compensation or notification.

7. PRIVACY & USE OF DATA Information collected from entrants is subject to the Sponsor's Privacy Policy, located at https://trustallred.com/about-us/privacy-policy/. By entering this Contest, you acknowledge and agree that the Sponsor may contact you by phone and/or email for marketing purposes, including to provide a free, no-obligation estimate for HVAC services. You may opt-out of receiving marketing communications at any time, but this will not affect your entry in the Contest.

8. GENERAL CONDITIONS Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs the integrity of the Contest. By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, Facebook, Inc., and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, and all of their officers, directors, employees, and agents (collectively, "Released Parties") from any and all liability, for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising from or in connection with the Contest or any prize won.

9. TAXES The ARV of the prize is taxable as income. The winner is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes. Sponsor will issue an IRS Form 1099-MISC to the winner for the full ARV of the prize. The winner will be required to provide their Social Security Number for tax reporting purposes.
